Job Description

The successful Bid Manager will report directly to the Estimating & Procurement Manager and General Manager. Key responsibilities include managing the bid process and leading the bid team for allocated tenders. Ensuring high-quality tenders submitted to clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the bid management process and developing bids/tenders for clients
  • Reporting to the Estimating & Procurement Manager and General Manager
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Formal or informal tertiary education in Building Construction or Engineering
  • An Australian Drivers' License
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in building or civil construction, or related industry experience with success in financial targets, timeframes, planning, and logistics management
  • Proven experience leading successful bids/tenders using best practices approaches
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team
  • Negotiation and client relationship building skills accompanied by a sound understanding of contract management and cost optimisation
  • Defence bid/tendering experience is desirable
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
