About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our technical team. This role involves providing detailed coordination and administrative support to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including superintendents, planners, procurement, HSSE, commercial, and QA/QC staff to ensure timely, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose construction and engineering services.
  • Manage the delivery of subcontractor work packages on time and within budget.
  • Participate in hazard and safety reviews on site and execute visible safety leadership.
  • Provide advice to subcontractors and actively find solutions to technical or project issues as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards.
  • Strong commitment to safety from design to construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving working skills with the ability to set priorities and manage own time.
