About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled IT infrastructure support specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and desktop computers.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students with a variety of IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for the school's IT infrastructure.
Required Skills:
  • Rapid deployment of wireless networks and devices in an educational setting.
  • Effective management of 1 to 1 user/devices in a high-quality school environment.
  • Planning, delivery, and evaluation of ICT professional development sessions.
  • Hardware and software innovation to improve services to students and staff.
  • Compliance with DET policies and procedures for ICT infrastructure management.
Personal Attributes:
  • Motivated and self-starting, able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Resourceful, able to find and research information to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear and effective language for stakeholders.
  • Independent and team working, ability to work effectively in both environments.
