Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

This includes monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure performance and availability, assisting in cloud migration activities, and implementing and managing cloud security controls and compliance standards.

  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for AWS cloud environments
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance and availability
  • Assist in cloud migration activities and post-migration optimization
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls and compliance standards
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve system reliability
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Required)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (Preferred)
  • AWS Certified Security - Specialty (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in cloud support or engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
  • Scripting & Automation: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Terraform
  • Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, RHEL), Windows Server
  • Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NAT Gateway, Direct Connect
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, X-Ray
  • Security & Compliance: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, AWS Organisations, SCPs
  • DevOps & CI/CD: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions
