Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Bakery Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating decorative cakes and pastries that exceed customer expectations.

  • Check cake order stands for special orders and pull stock from freezers or coolers to fill merchandising areas.
  • De-pan, garnish, and package baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies, and fruit tarts.
  • Follow production schedules to ensure daily needs are met and process cakes according to assembly instructions.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service, keeping decorating areas clean and clear of debris.

Physical Demands:

Repetitive heavy lifting and manual handling may be required.

Requirements:

Comparable experience in cake decorating is essential. A successful candidate will possess strong adaptive skills, manual handling training, and great time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Check cake order stands for special orders and pull stock from freezers or coolers to fill merchandising areas.

- De-pan, garnish, and package baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies, and fruit tarts, placing finished products on racks and transferring them to coolers, freezers, or wrapping areas.

- Follow production schedules to ensure daily needs are met and process cakes according to assembly instructions in the Cake Decorating Manual.

- Provide prompt and courteous member service, keeping decorating areas clean and clear of debris while following safety and security procedures.
