Baker & Cake Decorator – Full Time

We are seeking a full-time candidate to support our team of qualified Pastry Chefs and Bakers to further add creativity, passion, and precision to the team.

We create indulgent, handmade tortes, sweet pies, vintage cakes, slices, cake slabs, brownies and biscotti - to name a few. This role involves basic recipe preparation, baking, assembly and finishing cakes.

You don't have a formal qualification? Not to worry, the role does not require a trade qualification, however previous experience in a similar role is required for a successful application. We'd love to hear from you if you have both baking and decorating skills – but if you're great at one, we still want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

· Baking cakes & pastries, prepare crème pat, etc to exceptional standards

· Decorating cakes with creativity and flair

· Helping develop new recipes & seasonal creations

· Maintaining strict food safety & hygiene

· Working as part of a small, passionate team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional baker or cake decorator in a commercial setting
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of baked goods, including artisanal pastries, cakes and desserts
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to create visually stunning baked products
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the pastry team
• Passion for the art of baking/or cake decorating and a commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients
