Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Garlock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage time effectively to maximize customer-facing interactions, aiming for 80% of time spent in front of customers.
  • Develop and implement plans to grow sales through distributors, leveraging existing relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to deliver successful programs and gather market insights.
  • Presentation of company products and services, identifying market opportunities, and providing value-added solutions to customers.
  • Building strong relationships with major end-users, distributors, and other stakeholders within the territory.
  • Proactive pursuit of new business opportunities, canvassing users in target markets for potential deals.
Requirements
  • Minimum school certificate with demonstrated mathematical and English skills relevant to the position.
  • Trade or tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field are desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM management.
  • Ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in outside industrial selling with minimal supervision and budgetary constraints.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive compensation package, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
