Fire Alarm Solutions Specialist

The role of a Fire Alarm Solutions Specialist at a leading organization is to provide technical insight, solution development, and architecture definition to customers, consultants, and sales staff. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and build real connections with stakeholders who are changing the future.

You will collaborate with customers, consultants, and sales staff to pursue opportunities with technical insight and architecture definition. Your expertise in fire alarm systems will be essential in providing solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance, solution development, and support to Customers, Consultants, and Honeywell Sales staff in pursuit of winning opportunities.
  • Support both sales professionals and customers during the technical requirement definition and solution development sales process steps.
  • Contribute to the creation of customer technical roadmaps; customers include internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work as a team player with many sales professionals in the assigned geography; act as a resource to address the customer's technical and application requirements.
  • Offer coaching to sales professionals as it relates to their assigned application specialty.
  • Achieve orders, margin, and growth for assigned areas of expertise within the region.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualified (trade or degree) in a business or engineering related discipline — degree preferred
  • 10+ years of technical solution experience
  • Domain experience in Fire Alarm systems
  • Essential technical experience with skills in field hardware, Fire, PAVA, Security or BMS systems
  • Ability to position technical features and functions into customer value
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to internal and external customers (e.g., customer specs, white papers, trade shows)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities concurrently
