We are expanding our network infrastructure and investing in advancing technology. As a Network Engineer, you will work with a large and complex network topology.
The network connectivity team designs, implements, and maintains solutions to support trading systems across North America and beyond.
Responsibilities include monitoring performance, risk, and capacity, as well as evaluating third-party devices and solutions.
Active collaboration is required between teams to coordinate changes, determine root-cause analysis, recommend optimizations, and participate in projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Experience in WAN/LAN support, specifically troubleshooting OSI Layer 1-3 problems, multicast, and routing protocols.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network hardware, local area networks, internet protocols, fiber and copper optics, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
- 3-5 years of Arista Networks hardware experience.
- 5 years of experience working with EOS and/or NX-OS operating systems.
- Familiarity with products such as Netbox/Nautobot, AWX/Ansible, Nagios, Prometheus, Atlassian suite, and VMWare is a plus.
- Scripting experience in Python or Perl is preferred.
- Ability to work off-shift and weekends as part of a 24x7 support rotation.
