Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team. This challenging role will involve working in a variety of settings to deliver comprehensive care to our community members.
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a range of services to meet the needs of our local community. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including community health centers, schools, and private practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational therapy programs for individuals and groups
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve client outcomes
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant professional association
- Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a community health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
