This is an opportunity to progress your career as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist in our maternity unit. As a Clinical Midwifery Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality women-centered care and demonstrating leadership skills in the care of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal women.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan, deliver, and coordinate women and newborn care. This role requires advanced clinical expertise and the ability to make decisions that support positive outcomes for women and newborns.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife with a minimum of five years' relevant post-registration qualifications and extensive experience working in the provision of antenatal, intrapartum, and post-natal midwifery services.
- Evidence of clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced clinical expertise in relation to clinical midwifery practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in midwifery practice and the provision of education to others.
- Flexibility to work across one or multiple hospitals across our network.
