Job Title: Urban Development Specialist
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and providing expert advice on building and development matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Exercise initiative in decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution in relation to developments;
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients;
The role involves assessing and negotiating development applications, preparing reports and briefs of evidence for presentation to various bodies, and representing the organization on technical working parties and committees.
About You
- Demonstrate an established knowledge of and ability to apply building, planning, and environment legislation, policies, statutory procedures, and requirements;
- Possess formal qualifications in building, building surveying, or urban planning;
- Exhibit well-developed time management abilities and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
