This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Sunshine Coast. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design solutions across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver complex civil design solutions for diverse projects
- Contribute to budget development and fee proposal preparation
- Undertake detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities
- Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers at project meetings
- Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting
- Assist with bids, proposals, and business development initiatives
- Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER accreditation
- 4+ years' experience in civil design for land development or brownfield projects
- Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes
- Familiarity with brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management
- Proficiency in civil design software such as Auto CAD, 12 D, Drains, and Microsoft Project
- Experience in QA processes and design reviews
