The Open Academy is seeking three Community Program Co-ordinators to provide administrative support for short courses, workshops and music lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating classes, events and lessons, providing administration and production support for our short courses, workshops, festivals and individual lessons.
  • Promoting our programs to various audiences.
  • Handling inquiries from staff, students, visitors, and the public through phone, email, and in-person interactions relating to courses and events.

About This Role:

  • Able to effectively manage a range of cultural events with varying requirements and timelines.
  • A team player who can work independently as well.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including database management, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, and CMS website management systems.
  • Degree in music or equivalent experience in community, performing arts, or adult education.
  • Will be required to undertake some duties outside regular hours and on weekends.
  • Passionate about promoting community music education and music making.
