Job Title: Community Program Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Community Program Officer to join our team.

  • This is a full-time role that will provide administrative support for short courses, workshops, and music lessons for children, students, musicians, music educators, and the community at large.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying requirements and timelines.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating classes, events, and lessons.
  • Providing administration and production support for programs.
  • Undertaking promotion of programs.
  • Addressing inquiries from staff, students, visitors, and the public.

About You

  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • The candidate should also possess advanced computer skills and experience including database management, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suites.
  • A music-related tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a community, performing arts, or adult education environment is essential.
