Administrative Support for Music Programs

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music's Open Academy is seeking three Community Program Co-ordinators to provide administrative support for short courses, workshops and music lessons for children, students, musicians, music educators, and the community at large.

About the Opportunity:
  • The opportunity to support a learning environment catering for beginners right through to experienced musicians
  • Supporting the administration of short courses, workshops, and music lessons for children, students, musicians, music educators, and the community
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Coordinating classes, events and lessons, providing administration and production support for Open Academy short courses, workshops, festivals and individual lessons.
  • Undertaking promotion of Open Academy programs.
  • Addressing inquiries from staff, students, visitors, and the public through phone, email, and in-person interactions relating to courses and events.
Requirements:
  • Musical education or degree
  • Experience working with music-related projects

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. This role may entail duties outside regular hours and on weekends. A Working with Children Check clearance is required for this position.
