Community Music Engagement Coordinator
This role supports the promotion of community music-making by assisting with administering short courses, workshops, and festivals for adults and children. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience in handling inquiries and providing customer service. A music-related tertiary qualification is required, or equivalent relevant experience in a community, performing arts, or adult education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating classes, events, and lessons; promoting programs; addressing inquiries from staff, students, visitors, and the public; and undertaking some duties outside regular hours and on weekends.
About You:
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage cultural events
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including database management, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suites
- Music-related tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
