Senior Fraud and Scams Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud and Scams Specialist to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our Corporate Services division, you will play a critical role in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraud and scams targeting our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Investigate and resolve cases of fraud and scams by gathering information, documenting findings, and liaising with internal fraud teams and external stakeholders when necessary.
- Assist in identifying patterns of fraudulent behaviour, ensuring early detection, and minimizing financial losses to the business and its customers.
- Provide clear communication and updates to customers throughout the resolution process, ensuring transparency and a positive customer experience.
**What You'll Need:**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within banking or financial services (desired).
- Previous experience within Financial Crime or investigations in general.
- Prior customer service experience including call handling.
- Strong analytical skills and an investigative mindset.
- Critical thinking and the ability to interpret information and make decisions.
**Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including hybrid work arrangements, access to professional development opportunities, and a supportive team culture.
