Your role

As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you'll engage directly with customers, conduct thorough investigations, and proactively monitor transactions. You'll protect our customers from scams and be passionate about fighting fraud.

This role reports directly to the Fraud Manager.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting the Fraud Manager and acting as an SME and escalation point for Fraud Analysts.

2. Customer Interaction
Handling customer calls and emails about suspected fraud and assisting scam victims. 3. Fraud Investigation
Investigating fraud and scam incidents affecting the bank or its customers. 4. Operational Risk Support
Assessing and investigating fraud typologies to meet operational risk requirements. 5. Transaction Monitoring
Monitoring transactions and analysing customer behaviour to detect potential financial crimes. 6. Preventing, detecting and investigating alerted cases.

Essentials

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective liaison skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of different fraud types and transaction analysis.

Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
