Job DescriptionThis permanent, part-time position (0.8 FTE) involves undertaking nursing duties and case management within the strengths model of recovery orientated practice in the Community Care Unit (CCU). You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for consumers and their families.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in nursing that meets the registration requirements of APHRA;
- Enrolled Nurse medication endorsement;
- A post-registration qualification in a relevant area of specialty or in the process of achieving same;
- A current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain.
As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Level 2, you will contribute effectively to clinical review processes and team activities, administer medication in accordance with hospital procedures, and maintain all documentation in line with SVMH policies. You will also have opportunities to develop specialist skills and work as part of an integrated Adult Area Mental Health Service.
