The Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Southern Region team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our customers.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and repairing complex instrumentation across private pathology and hospital pathology customers in VIC, TAS, SA, WA, and NT.

You will work closely with Regional Service Managers to ensure effective first-time fix rates and perform preventative services to improve instrument reliability.

Requirements
  • Equivalent of 3 years' industry experience in service, technical support or plant maintenance, preferably within the pathology diagnostics industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Travel and Licensing
  • Ability to travel – 30% travel, overnight, within territory or locations across VIC, TAS, SA, WA, and NT
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience
  • An electrical or restricted license would be an advantage
