Our team is seeking a Technical Specialist to fill a challenging position in the field of medical instrument hardware and software development. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including technical writing, analysis, and graphics.
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing technical documents such as specifications, presentations, user manuals, UI screen designs, research reports, and technical descriptions.
- Building understanding of diagnostic instruments and assisting liaison with partners, collaborators, and stakeholders.
- Contributing to a team environment developing medical instrument hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Technical writing, analysis, and graphics tasks in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing technical documents.
- Building understanding of diagnostic instruments.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree in science or engineering with strong documentation and written communication skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Motivated self-starter with aptitude for documentation, organisation, and administrative tasks.
- Attention to detail, creativity, ability to work to deadlines and schedules.
- Clear thinking and problem-solving approach.
- Good computer literacy in Word, Excel, Illustrator, and drawing packages.
- Scientific or technical background with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Well organised with enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong report writing and presentation documentation capability.
- Professional with effective stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
