About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technology and Infrastructure Manager to join our team at ING Bank N.V. as an Infrastructure Technology Director. This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in technology and infrastructure, with a focus on providing strategic direction and guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and infrastructure strategy that aligns with the bank's overall business objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the technology and infrastructure team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality services.
  • Infrastructure Management
    • Oversee the management of our data centers, networks, and other critical infrastructure, ensuring that they are secure, reliable, and meet the bank's service level agreements.
    • Work closely with the risk and security team to ensure that our infrastructure is compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Vendor Management
    • Negotiate with vendors and partners to ensure that our technology and infrastructure services are aligned with the bank's business objectives.
    • Manage relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality services and meeting the bank's expectations.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of technology and infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them grow and succeed in their careers.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technology and infrastructure, with a focus on leadership and management.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on technology and infrastructure.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical skills, with a focus on cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure management.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
