
Homeless Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive tenancy and property management services to tenants across our housing programs.
- Conduct all arrangements to lease vacant properties quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of tenancies and ensure all documentation is completed in line with regulatory requirements.
- Educate tenants on their rights and responsibilities, promoting positive tenancy outcomes.
- Conduct routine property inspections as required and complete necessary reports.
- Represent the interests of the organisation at court/tribunal hearings when necessary.
- Respond constructively and promptly to tenant feedback, complaints, and appeals to support service improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies connecting tenants to additional support.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess a high level of professionalism and empathy when dealing with clients.
