Position Summary

As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll processes for our esteemed establishment. Your primary duties will include delivering precise and timely payroll services, addressing payroll inquiries, and managing employee status updates. You will ensure adherence to relevant Awards and regulations while contributing to significant payroll initiatives.

Additionally, you will handle accounts payable responsibilities, which encompass verifying the accuracy of invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and maintaining current vendor records. Your tasks will involve:
  • Accurate coding of invoices
  • Reconciling financial ledgers
  • Preparing payment schedules
  • Managing supplier statements
  • Handling accruals

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy is advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in financial transactions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
