We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our payroll and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and efficient financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll functions, including employee status changes, Awards compliance, and payroll-related projects.
- Oversee accounts payable, including invoice verification, authorization, and vendor information management.
- Coding invoices, reconciling ledgers, preparing payment runs, managing supplier statements, and handling accruals.
- Ensure compliance with financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Financial Operations Manager or in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
- Proficiency in financial software, including Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
