As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will help individuals with injuries, illnesses or disabilities become work-ready and find suitable employment. APM delivers employment services nationally and you'll be based in Canberra.

You will build relationships with job seekers and employers to source employment opportunities and increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills and abilities
  • Deliver ongoing outstanding customer service
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations

To succeed, you'll need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm availability
