Key responsibilities for this role include providing therapeutic services to promote independence and well-being of elderly consumers.

About the Role

This casual position will involve working under the guidance of highly qualified professionals to carry out duties that complement the therapy program of a consumer. Responsibilities will also include carrying out face-to-face and non face-to-face tasks, working with consumers in their home or community environment, and playing a critical part of the service delivery between the consumer and the therapist.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must have a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, demonstrated ability to follow instruction and respect scope of practice boundaries, and excellent customer-service and communication skills (written and verbal). Furthermore, you must be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will project a positive and professional image that enhances the reputation of NovaCare within the community. Additionally, you should have an understanding of the role of an Allied Health Assistant within a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
