A Product Delivery Officer is accountable to perform moderately complex contractual activities in support of service delivery. They are responsible for maintaining a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Job Description
An APS 5 Product Delivery Officer will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the contract management function based on legislation, policy and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and well-developed priority management skills, while also being able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. They will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a high-paced team environment. The required skills include:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound and informed operational decisions.
  • Capability to analyse and interpret complex information, providing clear, relevant and concise advice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders across Government and industry to achieve high quality outcomes.
