Overview

Join Nearmap as a Technical Product Delivery Manager (TPDM). Are you a skilled Technical Product Delivery Manager with a passion for driving high-impact technology projects? Nearmap is looking for a TPDM to lead the delivery of our innovative products, features, and platform capabilities, ensuring our engineering and technology teams exceed expectations.

About the Role
As a Technical Product Delivery Manager at Nearmap, you will take ownership of product delivery roadmaps, manage competing priorities, and act as the Product Owner for your development teams. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Technology, and Operations to deliver seamless solutions for our customers and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Roadmap: Prioritise and manage product backlogs, aligning with Solution Product Managers (SPMs) and stakeholders. Act as custodian of your platform area, delivering practical, consistent, and forward-thinking solutions.

  • Analyse & Plan: Translate market requirements into actionable product plans with designers and technical leaders. Ensure requirements are clear, scalable, and data-driven to guide confident delivery. Anticipate future needs and ensure today's solutions set us up for long-term growth.

  • Deliver with Impact: Own on-time, on-scope delivery outcomes, balancing agile practices with structured execution. Act as Product Owner for your dev team — writing clear stories, managing dependencies, and coordinating releases. Report progress and outcomes clearly to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Continuously Improve: Drive process, system, and infrastructure improvements to support scale and evolving customer needs. Champion high standards of quality, data integrity, and governance.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
