Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care in the community to clients with complex health conditions or age-related care needs. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal client outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to clients with various health conditions, including home modifications and equipment prescription.
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions to meet individual client goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and develop effective therapy plans.
  • Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of therapy programs and protocols that enhance service delivery.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An Occupational Therapy degree with AHPRA registration.
  • A valid driver's licence and insured vehicle.
  • Prior experience in community or hospital OT settings is preferred but not required.
