Job Summary:

This Senior Territory Manager position is a critical role responsible for business growth within a defined territory by maximizing sales of Smith+Nephew Reconstruction products and brands through regular contact with the target customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Territory Management
  • Manage assigned sales territory ensuring all company policies and protocols are followed, with particular focus on safety and compliance elements.
  • Mentor, coach, and support less experienced sales and clinical support members in providing exceptional case support and training.
  • Sales Cadence & Administration
  • Ensure execution and reporting of sales and marketing activities in territory.
  • Ensure appropriate execution of allocation spreadsheet, territory management plans, consignment agreements, tenders/pricing requests, special pricing, and customer profiles/preferences.
  • Create accurate sales forecast and provide timely monthly reporting to Regionals Sales Manager on actual to forecast.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Participate as an active member and at all scheduled meetings (Regional/National team), leading projects and initiatives for the state and/or franchise.
  • Professional Ethics & Compliance
  • A adopt a continuous improvement approach to all work processes, utilizing sales automation to improve workflow, time management, communication, and increase client contact time.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related discipline.
  • Proven experience in orthopaedics and/or endoscopy clinical support or exceptional sales experience in related medical devices.
  • Strong selling skills (+10 yrs in medical device).
  • Strong understanding of orthopaedics and/or endoscopy therapies products and industry.
