Senior Territory Manager – Recon – Sydney South

The role of a Senior Territory Manager – Recon involves selling a range of medical equipment products and services by utilizing specialized knowledge. This position will be responsible for business growth within the defined territory by maximizing sales of Smith + Nephew Reconstruction products and brands through regular contact with the target customer base.

Responsibilities:
  • Territory Management:
  • Manage assigned sales territory ensuring all company policies and protocols are followed, with a particular focus on safety and compliance elements.
  • Mentor, coach, and support less experienced sales and clinical support members in providing exceptional case support and training.
  • Sales Cadence & Administration:
  • Ensure the execution and reporting of sales and marketing activities in the territory.
  • Execute the allocation spreadsheet, territory management plans, consignment agreements, tenders/ pricing requests, special pricing, and customer profiles/preferences.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and provide timely monthly reporting to the Regional Sales Manager on actual versus forecast.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Participate as an active member in scheduled meetings (Regional/National team), leading projects and initiatives for the state and/or franchise.
  • Professional Ethics & Compliance:
  • Avoid any behavior that could compromise professional ethics or compliance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in orthopaedics and/or endoscopy clinical support or exceptional sales experience in related medical devices.
  • Strong selling skills, with over 10 years of experience in medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of orthopaedics and/or endoscopy therapies products and industry.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
