Research Partnerships Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Partnerships Manager to join our team at RMIT University. As a key member of our Research and Innovation Portfolio, you will play a critical role in managing the identification, development, and delivery of research partnerships with industry, government, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the identification and development of research bids and grant applications for large-scale, cross-disciplinary research projects.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with researchers and academics to identify and pursue research opportunities that align with the university's strategic priorities.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on research partnerships and collaborations to support the development of research proposals and grant applications.
- Work closely with the Research and Innovation Portfolio to develop and implement strategies to promote research partnerships and collaborations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in research partnerships and collaborations, with a strong track record of success in securing research funding and developing strategic partnerships.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business writing and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values and principles of RMIT University, including a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.
