Aboriginal Health Management Trainee

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Aboriginal professional to join our dynamic team at Sydney Local Health District.

This is a two-year program designed for enthusiastic graduates looking to step up to the challenge of a rewarding career in public health.

  • This program offers a Master or Graduate Diploma of Advanced Practice (Organisational Performance) through the University of Tasmania.
  • You will develop skills and understanding of the public health system through various placements and executive mentoring.

Key responsibilities include receiving an immersive learning experience combining practical work experience with academic study, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and organisational performance, and developing and implementing effective solutions to complex problems.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the community, hold a relevant degree and meet the eligibility criteria for the Master or Graduate Diploma of Advanced Practice (Organisational Performance), and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
