Teacher - Science Role Overview">

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated teacher to join our science team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for leading ongoing improvements in pedagogy, curriculum, and programming across Years 11 and 12.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and creativity in classroom practices, as well as expertise in the context of the science curriculum and pedagogy. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Learning Area to support the Science learning area in achieving targets in the School Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead ongoing improvements in pedagogy, curriculum, and programming across Years 11 and 12
  • Support the Science learning area in achieving targets in the School Business Plan
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Learning Area to achieve shared goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A qualified teacher registration
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid visa with work rights
  • The ability to apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencement
  • The capacity to obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before commencement
