As a Teacher at Eastern Goldfields College, it is highly desirable that you exhibit innovation and creativity in classroom practices and cater for student diversity. The successful applicant should understand instructional and curriculum design, demonstrate self-reflective practices with a focus on quality teaching, and be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Working in collaboration with the Head of Learning Area, you will lead ongoing improvements in pedagogy, curriculum and programming across Years 11 and 12 and support the Science learning area to achieve targets in the School Business Plan. We are seeking a highly committed, adaptable and collaborative individual who can work effectively as part of a team and who is motivated by our school vision to contribute to its achievement alongside our Science Teachers.

Eligible permanent teachers may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment with a right of return to their substantive position. At the end of the 3-year mobility period, teachers can return to their substantive role or transfer permanently into this school. Check eligibility on IKON. Note that South West teachers are not eligible to move to another South West school under this trial.
