Account Administration Role

The National Accounts Credit Administrator will contribute to business growth and return on investment by managing high volume large dollar accounts, reducing outstanding debts and maintaining accurate customer records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Resolve queries and take phone calls from customers and stores.
  • Debt Collection: Identify outstanding accounts, contact customers and stores to investigate reasons for late payments and provide payment options.
  • Account Management: Act as a focal point for the store network regarding account maintenance and set up, update and maintain account information on systems.
  • Reconciliations and Receipting: Ensure all key accounts are reconciled, receive payments and prepare cheques to be banked into company's account.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Demonstrate leadership within the team, provide training and support to other team members and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Development: Undertake induction, skills and technical training within agreed timeframe and participate in self-development programs and workshops authorised by the company.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

About the Position:

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
  • Must be a team player with good work ethics and proactive mindset.
  • Must demonstrate leadership within a team environment and lead by example.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate with customers, stakeholders and fellow employees.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, mathematical and literacy skills.
  • Similar previous experience is desirable.
