Senior Consumer Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Protection Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Consumer & Fair Trading Division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the rights of consumers are protected.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plans for conducting investigations and projects, including allocating resources and monitoring expenditure.
- Provide advice on trends and patterns, industry and consumer behaviour, and impacts of broader environmental change.
- Contribute to the development of ACCC positions on legislative and policy reform.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA) or ability to acquire this knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience in managing investigations and/or projects, including efficient allocation of resources and achievement of standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex technical information to various audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced, large complex people-centred organisation.
- Competitive salary of $123,702 - $136,900 per annum (plus 15.4% superannuation).
