Job Description

As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that our compliance and enforcement activities are effective and efficient. You will be responsible for managing investigations and projects, including developing plans, allocating resources, and monitoring expenditure.

  • Develop and implement plans for investigations and projects, including allocation of resources and monitoring of expenditure.
  • Provide advice on trends and patterns, industry and consumer behaviour, and impacts of broader environmental change.
  • Contribute to the development of ACCC positions on legislative and policy reform.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA), including the ability to apply consumer protection provisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing investigations and/or projects, including efficient and effective allocation of resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
