This mental health service is free and accessible to everyone without the need for an appointment or referral. The services are co-funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments, providing a streamlined approach to support better mental health and wellbeing across the country.

  2. Offers peer-integrated recovery and clinical support tailored to the needs of the community in Tasmania.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager will lead a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality care to individuals accessing the service. They will work closely with the Clinical Services Manager and Operations Manager to drive innovation and quality improvement in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • A mental health-related degree (Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Mental Health Social Worker) with related registration eligibility.
  • Leadership experience in a multidisciplinary team or extensive experience as a Senior Clinician providing clinical support to a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice in mental health and alcohol and drug use.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with consumers, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families, friends, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing clinical governance, supervision, mentoring, process development, data capture, and reporting to meet key contractual benchmarks.
  • Current driver's license and eligibility for a Working With Children Check and NDIS worker screening.
