Role Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented Trade Support Assistant to join our skilled team. As a key member of our crew, you will support qualified tradespeople with assembly, maintenance, and repair of gearboxes, winches, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently
  • Organize tools, materials, and components for production tasks
  • Perform quality checks and basic measurements using precision instruments
  • Assist with equipment testing and commissioning procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
  • Comply with all safety protocols and contribute to our zero-harm workplace culture
  • Participate in process enhancement initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good physical fitness level with ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Current forklift license and driver's license (essential)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Must have unlimited working rights in Australia (student visa holders cannot be considered)

Favourable Qualifications:

  • Understanding of gear systems and power transmission
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or workshop settings
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment or mechanical systems
