Job Title: Financial Operations Associate

This role is responsible for providing critical support to the Finance team in ensuring timely and accurate financial operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key part in driving process improvements and contributing to the growth of our organisation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Oversee end-to-end AP/AR functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, debt collection, and reconciliations.
  • Month-End Close & Reporting: Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, management reporting, and statutory compliance (BAS, GST, PAYG).
  • Finance Transformation Initiatives: Participate in automation projects, process reviews, and system enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and deliver timely financial information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of systems, ideally ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Keen interest in process improvement, automation, and finance transformation projects.
  • Ability to adapt to change, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA/CA qualified or studying towards accreditation desirable).
  • Eligibility to hold a Blue Card.
