Senior Financial Operations Manager

The Finance Officer role is a critical component of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake financial responsibilities for the Program associated with the department's financial system (SAP) and contract payment allocations, reconciliations and reporting.
- Provide reports in areas such as trends and forecasting, procurement spend, forward commitments and spend under contract.
- Maintain a proactive approach to fostering the continuous improvement of reporting service tools and functions such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Provide financial operational support to the Program in the preparation, allocation and monitoring of operating and capital budgets.
- Research matters to prepare quality reports, submissions, correspondence and briefing notes for management on financial management issues and impacts.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of official information and correspondence in accordance with departmental protocols, Information Standards, and document and records management procedures.
