We're seeking a seasoned professional to drive innovation in natural hazard modelling.

About the Role

As a key contributor to our organisation, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing modelling processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely preparation of data used in natural hazard and reinsurance modelling. Your focus will be on delivering technical outputs and insights to stakeholders within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain robust modelling processes for natural hazard budgeting, reinsurance program optimisation, and allocation
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely preparation for modelling purposes
  • Deliver high-quality technical outputs and insights to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and simplify modelling workflows
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to general insurance
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL, and SAS; Python knowledge is desirable
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
