Executive Officer to the Pro Vice Chancellor: Aboriginal Leadership and Strategy

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of South Australia as an Executive Officer to the Pro Vice Chancellor: Aboriginal Leadership and Strategy. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic support and advice to the PVC: ALS, coordinating projects, researching and writing submissions, generating policy advice, and liaising with stakeholders.
About the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor: Aboriginal Leadership and StrategyThe Office of the PVC: ALS was established in 2016 to manage and coordinate all university activities pertaining to the education, employment, community engagement, and research of Aboriginal Peoples at the University of South Australia. The PVC: ALS leads the development of a whole-of-institution approach to the recruitment, support, retention, and success of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the University.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate strategic projects and initiatives
- Research and write submissions, policy advice, and reports
- Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external to the University
- Provide high-level committee support and analysis
- Represent the PVC: ALS and negotiate on their behalf, as required
- High-level strategic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills
- Proven analytical, research, and writing skills
- Experience in servicing high-level committees or working groups
