Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Pharmaceutical Business Development Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospital pharmacy and procurement environment, as well as experience in commercial clinical and training support.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate therapeutic, disease state, and product information to customers and healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing contract and tender activity in public and private hospitals, identifying opportunities to assist in the delivery of product objectives and drive growth in the hospital business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Strategy Execution: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for existing and new launch products.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals to ensure well-supported use of company products.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain high-level knowledge of company products and detail them as needed to customers and healthcare professionals.
Key Requirements:
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify customer trends.
  • Hospital Pharmacy Expertise: Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital pharmacy and procurement environment.
  • Key Account Management: Key Account Management experience.
  • Healthcare Professional Engagement: Prior experience or training in healthcare professional engagement.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstration of entrepreneurial spirit and high standard of ethics and values.
