Job Summary

The System Support Specialist - Payment Infrastructure will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and maintenance of our mission-critical systems. As part of our DevOps Engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Owning the operational lifecycle, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Proactively monitoring systems, responding swiftly to incidents, and working to resolve underlying problems to prevent future occurrences.
  • Providing 24/7 on-call support where required by management.
  • Contributing expertise and input into operational design and process.
  • Ensuring appropriate user access and service requests are actioned to agreed standards.
  • Maintaining and updating documentation related to configuration, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience supporting NCR Authentic Switch or alternative transaction switching.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, PowerShell, Bash) for process automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer
