Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate internal systems and associated technology to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide timely and professional support to clients via telephone, email, and online platforms.
  • Collaborate with the contracted system service provider to resolve technical issues and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained.
  • Manage the support and development of operational geographical information systems and data to meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in GIS with a strong working knowledge of MapInfo and ESRI software.
  • Experience in a customer service role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytical problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal presentation, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
