Aboriginal Counselling Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Counsellor in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role involves providing culturally safe and trauma-informed counselling to children and young people aged 10–17 who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviour.
You will play a vital and multifaceted role in supporting healing, strengthening family relationships, and ensuring culture remains central to the care of children and young people. Your primary focus will be on early intervention, delivering culturally sensitive and holistic services that promote positive, long-lasting change.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and cultural insight, with experience working with Aboriginal communities. They will be able to build trust and foster greater access to services, ensuring cultural knowledge and community perspectives remain central to all aspects of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Counsellor Level 4 or equivalent
- Psychologist or Social Worker Level 4
- Senior Psychologist (desirable)
